About the filmmaker
Jade Baxter is a filmmaker from the Nlaka’pamux Nation and grew up at Skuppah. Her work has screened at festivals and online including imagineNATIVE, DOXA, Victoria Film Festival, The Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM), Vancouver Contemporary Art Gallery. Jade is a part of the Testify Art + Law Collective, 2019 Hot Docs Accelerator Program, and Experimental Media Outsiders Collective.
