Sally Lee has worked with arts organizations representing a wide range of disciplines since the late 80s, including artists rights organization CARFAC Ontario, where she served as Executive Director from 2015-18. She has held management and leadership positions at TIFF, Soulpepper Theatre Company, and Reel Asian International Film Festival, where she was ED for three festivals. She is a Toronto Arts Council Cultural Leaders Lab Fellow and currently sits on the boards of Wavelength Music and the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival. She is a member of the Advocacy Network of the Toronto Arts Foundation, the Visual Arts and Media Arts Committee of the TAC, the Advisory Board of Reel Asian, and the Nominating Committee of Access Copyright. She has also participated in the production of several independent films and music videos. An active member of Toronto’s independent music community since the early 90s, Sally currently plays bass and sings in the band Long Branch.
