About the filmmaker
Tiffany Muñoz (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary artist and experimental filmmaker of Filipino and British-Canadian settler descent living in Vancouver, BC (unceded Coast Salish Territories). Her practice focuses on multi-layered absurdist, yet uncanny, visceral narratives that explore esoterica and personal, cultural identity. Recently, she has contributed to group exhibitions for Peanuts Gallery, Maladjusted Collective and a group residency at Duplex. She holds a Diploma in Fine Arts from Langara College (where she was the 2018 Studio Sculpture Award recipient) and is currently a 4th year BFA student at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
