Bio: Simone Blais
Simone Blais began her career in the arts at the age of 8 as a nationally competitive dancer. After studying contemporary, jazz, and traditional Métis style jigging, she developed a passion for inclusion and accessibility in the dance community, especially for Black people.
Simone holds a degree in Gender Studies and Indigenous Studies, and has a passion for reproductive justice. She also works as a doula and sexual health educator. Dance Like Everybody’s Watching is her debut film.
